Auto start not working...
« on: October 26, 2009, 09:17:55 AM »
have 3 Microsoft 3000vx webcams (windows xp sp2, webcam drivers recently updated). Would like to use the Auto Start function but when I click on Auto Start in the preference area  my cams need to be closed down & restarted again to get them functioning properly again. If I do not choose the auto start function everything works ok.

Any help would be appreciated as it seems to take a long time to manually start 3 cameras.

Thanks

Jay

There's information about auto-starting multiple iCamSources in this forum thread: http://skjm.com/forum/index.php?topic=416.0

Seems a little involved as I'm kind of a computer novice...any thoughts to simplifying this in the future? I have another webcam program that all I have to do is choose the startup option in the preference area & my cams turn on everytime I start my computer.

Multiple camera support in iCamSource has been requested by other users and is on our list of potential features to add to iCam in the future.
