What type of Mac are you attempting to run the iCamSource on?

If you choose About This Mac from the Apple Menu and then click More Info it will give you your Mac's model description (like Mac Pro Mid 2010, MacBook Air 13-inch, Mid 2012, etc.)

Are you running the iCamSource from the Applications folder?

I have a mid-2011 macbook air (12A269)

Yesterday I managed to use it (I had mountain lion developer preview 4). today I upgraded to golden master and it's crashing, so it's seems like an OS version issue.

Did you upgrade the DP4 system to the GM? On every test system we've done a clean install with the GM and the iCamSource has loaded without issue.

From the crash log it looks like it is a problem with the initial loading of the app by the OS. Have you tried deleting the iCamSource and re-downloading it?

Yes. I did an upgrade.

I also tried removing and installing the software again - same results.

You could try deleting the com.skjm.icamsource.plist file in the Library/Preferences folder in your home folder to reset the iCamSource settings to see if that has any effect.

Have you tried re-installing the GM or perhaps creating a new temporary partition and installing a clean version of the GM to see if it still crashes on startup? Since all of the clean installs we have done have not had any issue I wonder if a clean install on your computer would still crash.

Well, I can't find that file. seems like the application crashes too early and don't even reach to a point where it creates it?

I didn't reinstall the OS, but if that's worth something I was checking today many applications I had before upgrading and all of them are running, including Microsoft Office, Aperture, Amadeus Pro, Skype,  VLC, Aduim, Cyberduck, etc.

I will try reinstall the OS over the existing one... there's nothing to loose  ::)

I also tried updating a Lion computer to the Mountain Lion GM (instead of doing a clean install) and the iCamSource worked as expected.

If you were running the iCamSource on the computer before installing the GM then the plist file should have already have been created.

Starting with Lion the user's Library folder is hidden, actually: http://osxdaily.com/2011/07/22/access-user-library-folder-in-os-x-lion/

I just reinstalled the OS over the existing one and it works!

I have to admit I was totally skeptic about that part (;D), but you've been right about it.

Thanks for the fast responses.

 Gal.
