ICam Source Crashes with XP Home
« on: February 02, 2012, 03:47:48 PM »
Aft reading previous entry's all I see is to load latest .Net and Visual C++.  As they say, been there, done that.  Only version 1.4.X works.  Using a Foscam IP camera, which works great on a desktop running Vista.  There is no other camera on my XP desktop, but I do have video editing software.  Would appreciate help.

Make sure that Windows is fully updated through Windows Update and that you have the latest drivers installed for your webcam.

Also, please make sure there aren't any other video capture programs (including your editing software) running. They might be fighting iCamSource for access to the camera.

Have done all that.  Why does version 1.4.x work on same computer that the 2.4.4 does not?

How many cameras are you running on your XP computer and what are the Brand/Models of each?

Also, please send a screenshot of the iCamSource window to support@skjm.com so we can verify the settings. Please reference this post and your username.
