iCam source window not opening in windows 7
« on: December 28, 2011, 07:56:20 PM »
I just downloaded and installed iCam source on my windows 7 laptop today, and it worked perfectly.
I configured my webcam to work with it, and it does (Logitec C615). Once I closed the software, I have not been able to get it to run again.
I double click the icon, and I get nothing. I loaded task manager, and no applications are running.
The strange thing is that it is working in the background somehow. The motion detection sends messages to my iPhone, and I can log on and see the camera.
Any ideas?

Thank you for your post.

It sounds like the iCamSource window may be hidden. When you close the iCamSource window, the iCamSource program still runs in the background. If the iCamSource window is hidden, there will be a small iCamSource icon in the System Tray (Windows). The icon is a small version of the iCam icon (camera lens). From this icon, you can stop, start, or quit iCamSource. If you select "Preferences" it will display the iCamSource window.
