All updates to iCam are free. The next version includes motion detection and an optional add-on for push notification which is $0.99 (in the US). The push notifications are an add-on because we are buying a server and upgrading our bandwidth for the notifications.
BTW, the next version was submitted to Apple a week ago and is waiting for their approval. Approval has taken several weeks in the past.
