Hi, Couldn't find any reference to this specific problem in the troubleshooting or other forum posts.
iCamSource is running at home on a Win7 PC with two webcams plugged directly into the PC (both Logitech USB). I haven't made any network configuration changes.
I'm using an iPhone 4 IOS4.2.1
Logging into the iPhone app:
1. At home on my home wifi network I see both cam feeds always (no problem)
2. Away from home on 3G I see both cam feeds always (no problem)
3. At work, on our office WIFI network one of three things happens when I start the iPhone app (problem):
a) Source Connection Error - One or more of the iCamSources returned by the iCam Broker Server could not be connected to. No video feeds displayed.
b) Camera #1 feed is displayed, then I get the same source connection error. Camera 1 continues to display after I click OK on the error
c) Camera #2 feed is displayed, then source connection error.
I never see both camera feeds when connected via the at Work WIFI network.
If I turn off WIFI access on the iPhone and access iCam via 3G it immediately works fine.
If I click refresh in the iPhone app one of the three scenarios will happen (same as if I restert the app).
Motion detection events are reported OK.
I don't see any pattern for which of the three scenarios will happen when on the work WIFI network. The most common is (a), then (b) then (c).
I've tried rebooting the PC and my iPhone and get the same behaviour.
Any suggestions on possible cause or troubleshooting steps?
Cheers
Don
