repeater bridge
« on: September 19, 2011, 11:51:38 AM »
Hi

Lately I installed a repeater bridge and now only one of my 4 cameras are viewable from the app.
All 4 are working. and I can view them from vnc or remote desktop.
The one I can view is on the rp and not the wired router.
Any help would be appreciated.

Thank you
BTW: I have had great service with icam and this is some sort of user error.
You guys are great and I highly recommend to all..

Thank you for your post.

Are the other 3 cameras connected to the repeater or the wired router? Does the problem occur when the iPhone is connected to the local Wi-Fi network or to the 3G network?

icamweb shows 3 sources and only connects 1 then and error from the server comes up. "Source connection error. one or more icamsources returned by the broker server could not be connected to."

It sounds like the "repeater" might actually be another router. What is the Brand/Model of the router and the Brand/Model of the repeater.

Also, please go to http://whatismyipaddress.com/ from the computer running the iCamSource and send your external IP address to support@skjm.com so we can attempt to look it up in the Broker Server logs and hopefully troubleshoot the problem. Also, please reference this forum post and your user name in your email.

Email sent with ip.
The repeater bridge is a NETGEAR WNR834B running dd wrt, main router is a Netgear WNDR3700 running dd wrt.

thank you
