STOP 0xD1 errors daily...
« on: October 23, 2010, 10:25:50 AM »
So far it's BSODs daily - 2.4GHz/2GB RAM computer that does nothing but run iCam Source and ran without a single BSOD for a long time prior to iCam Source being installed this week this computer never had a single issue with crashing.

*** STOP: 0x000000D1 (0x00000060,0x00000002,0x00000000,0xF7792D6E)
*** usbehci.sys - Address F7792D6E base at F778F000, DateStamp 480254ce

STOP error 0xD1 means that a kernel-mode driver attempted to access pageable memory at a process IRQL that was too high.  This is being done during an access to Microsoft's USB 2.0 Enhanced Host Controller Miniport Driver.  iCam Source is the culprit, most likely, as you can see.

I hope you can fix this in your next update... I'd hate to have to give up on this extremely promising software.

It seems like it may be an issue with your computer's USB bus or webcam drivers.

Do you have all of the latest Windows updates installed for your computer, as well as the latest drivers for your webcam? Also, is your webcam plugged directly into your computer and not into a USB hub or extension cable?

Have you tried plugging it into a different USB port?

About how long does the iCamSource run before it bluescreens?

Have done a core driver update, will run it overnight.

BSODs have been from 2 to 10 hours, so it's not consistent or immediate or anything like that.

I'll update how things go in a day or two, thanks.
