Freezes computer

I just downloaded and installed the most recent OSX security patches this morning and now my iCam had locked up my machine twice this morning with a purple "noise" on the display. Just wondering if other users experience this? and is there a fix?

j1k1 is receiving technical support through email. We haven't heard any other reports of this, but if anybody else sees this behavior, please let us know.
