Mac Book Pro

Hello,

I'm using iCam with 2 IP cams. The source mac is a macbook pro. Is it really necessary to leave the computer open and on.
Two cams eats up my battery and the thing is getting quit hot.

thx
Ronald

Yes, assuming you want to use your iCam app 24/7. The icamsource program processes the images (resolution/file size) from your camera(s) so that they can be sent efficiently over the 3g/Edge networks, it monitors the images for motion and sends the motion push notifications to your phone. Do you have a different networked computer that you can leave on 24/7?
