icam source for android s3 ?
« on: October 05, 2014, 05:12:32 PM »
two questions:

1. current setup, works great: ipod running icamsource, viewing on android s5 over wifi and verizon when not on wifi. since i upgraded to the s5 i want to use my older galaxy s3 as a new camera source along with the ipod, is this possible? if not, when is the source app available for android?

2. ipod / icamsource: is there any way to hide the program so it doesnt stay on the entire time the program is on...so it doesnt burn the screen?

thanks!
jeff

1. iCamSource Mobile has been requested in the past and is currently on our list of potential features to implement in the future. Unfortunately, we do not have a specific timeline for release.

2. Apple does allow apps to run in the background, however, they don’t allow access to the camera while the app is in the background, so ipCam won’t work in the background. You can darken your screen if you single-tap the preview view.
