I would like to stream motion activated video from an Imac webcam to a separate PC on the LAN running Blue Iris security video capture software. Will Icam do this?

iCam and iCamSource use a proprietary protocol in order to pierce through most routers/firewalls, so it can’t be used to stream to third-party software.
You can view your webcam (video-only) from a remote desktop computer using iCamWeb:

iCamWeb uses a Java applet to connect to iCamSource, so Java must be installed on the computer.
