IPAD ICAM Source
« on: March 17, 2014, 11:25:00 AM »
H I have installed ICAMSource on my IPAD, and hence installed ICAM on another IPAD, but I can never fully connect with ICAMSource as it always says connecting, and never connects. Both IPADs are on  the same WIFI, so thats not the issue.
I have tried auto-config router, and get the Error:
UPnP 3 : NAT-PMP 3,-7,61

Any Ideas, its an school router, so I cant restart it, but I wonder if the firewall is blocking the ICAM Broker Server . If its a specific website, then I can override this , not an issue ?? any thoughts
I have started by allowing access to SKJM websites, any others I need to allow ??

Further to the above I have just taken both thes Ipads home and tried all at home with no problems at alll so must be the firewall as i see we use apple tvs at school who i assume support Upnp

The most likely explanation is that the school’s network is not allowing the iCam traffic. School Wi-Fi networks can be very restrictive.  Often, they will only allow web browsing and email.

Have you enable Proxy Support on the iPad running iCam? More information about Proxy Support can be found on our Support Pages here: http://skjm.com/icam/help/proxy.php

If Proxy Support does not work unfortunately, the only thing left to try is to manually configure your router for port forwarding. If your schools tech support can enable port forwarding for you there are further instructions here: http://skjm.com/forum/index.php?topic=402.0
