problems with a camera set up outside the home network?
« on: September 21, 2009, 07:34:21 AM »
I have 3 cams set up on my home network and they are working fine... now, I have a USB camera set up with one of my workstation at work (remote location)
I plugged the USB camera opened my Icam Source application, hit "start" and you can see it on the preview panel but it doesn't broadcast to my iphone... The workstation has internet at all time but I don't know if a firewall would be a problem (don't think so since its uploading)
thanks again!

joel

The firewall at your office might be causing the problem.  I can get more information about the problem if I get the external IP address of your work computer.  To get it, please go to http://whatismyip.com in your work computer's web browser and send the IP address you see there to support@skjm.com.  Please refer to this forum thread in your email.
