IPCAM not accessible after installing new router
« on: March 17, 2012, 09:31:39 PM »
Hello everybody,
Hoping you gys can help me how to fix the issue.
I have an IP camera - IPCAM01 which I got from amazon 3 years ago. I was able to access it both in and outside my home network.
2 days ago, I replace my linksys WRT300 router  with a linksys E3200 (dual band).
I copied the port forwarding I used with the WRT300 router.
Now, I can no longer access the camera.

I did the following to fix it:
1. Power on and off the camera
2. re-installed the IPCAM tool software that I use for the camera.

I still am not able to access the camera.

any advice will be highly appreciated.

thanks

Are you able to access your cameras via your web browser?

In that case, it sounds like you may need to re-setup your IP cameras on your network. This particular forum is for our App ipCam.- http://skjm.com/ipcam/support.php

The IPCam01 appears to be a re-branded Foscam FI8908W. Please see the Foscam website for specific instructions on how to setup your IP camera with your network. - http://foscam.us/products/foscam-fi8908w-black-wireless-ip-camera-25.html
