What does the broker server?

Please tell me what is the job of the broker server? Does the server manage the traffic of all iCam users?

It authenticates usernames & passwords, then directly connects the phone (iCam) to the computer (icamsource) so that video/audio is NOT sent through SKJM's servers. They explain it in their FAQ section. Without the broker server, everyone would have to set up a dynamic DNS and have to program that address in the iCam app so it knows where to look for the audio/video feeds.

Ok thanks, but seems to be very buggy. I tested a lot of ip camera apps and other remote apps with Dyn DNS.
iCam with UPnP is the most struggling setup at all.

Yeah, port forwarding can be a headache for sure. I'm tech-savvy, and it still took me a couple of attempts to get it all set up properly. I'm going to shoot you a PM.
