help with playstation eye

Has anyone else been able to get a playstation eye camera to work with icamsource? Mine shows up in macam on my mini, and it's listed as an available camera in icamsource but there's no image there. I read the other thread that's now a year old and tried using different settings in the cvs build of macam, but nothing has worked and it always seems to result in icamsource freezing. Then the only thing I can do is restart the computer. Icam works great on my MacBook with the built in iSight but I'd really like to be able to use it on the mini.
Am I just out of luck trying to use the ps eye?

We haven't heard any reports about the Playstation Eye camera since that forum thread, so I don't have any new information for you.  Does the camera work properly in the Photobooth application?  Cameras that work in that program usually work in iCam (and vice-versa).

No, it doesn't work with photobooth or iMovie. It does work with skype. So maybe it's an issue with the macam driver then.
