Where are the Motion Events Stored???
« on: December 09, 2010, 03:51:06 PM »
Where exactly are the motion events stored??  I am just worried because when my camera is off I cannot access the pictures.  And if the pictures are on the computer's HD then they will be useless if the computer is stolen.

Is it stored to a server?  If not they should be...

The motion events are stored on your computer's hard drive. SKJM would have to charge us a monthly fee if they were providing us with server space, as they'd have to pay for the server and significant bandwidth to accomodate timely uploads/downloads from all of the users. It wouldn't be very practical. There is a free alternative called Dropbox. Just change the recording folder in icamsource to a folder within the Dropbox folder after you get Dropbox installed.  While you're at it, download the Dropbox app for your iPhone for free.
