Motion Detection being switched on for all cams at same time?
« on: September 19, 2010, 08:36:42 AM »
Using iCamSource 2.1.1 with Win XP and iCam V3 on the iPhone and iPad.

When I activate Motion Detection via iCam, it is being switched on for both my USB webcams.  I'm sure that this was switched independently before.  For example, Motion Detection is off for both cams, I switch in on for the one watching the cat flap for testing and I end up with 30 minutes motion capture of me having lunch on the kitchen cam - not exactly compulsive viewing  :D

When you say iCam V3, do you mean iCam 2.0 (the latest version)?

There is a control to enable/disable Motion Detection in the latest version of iCamSource, but the iCam iPhone app doesn't have a control to enable or disable Motion Detection.  It does have controls to enable and disable Notifications and Recording.  Are you referring to the Recording control? If so, I'll try to replicate the problem and track down the cause.
