Yes, I can test both if you like.

I'll run Google talk over one night and the windows sound recorder another and let you know how it goes....

I am using Air Mic while you try and resolve this issue with iCam and it works continuously without cutting out the audio. The Air Mic app uses the same webcam microphone / win 7 PC set up.

Are you saying that the audio was not an issue with the prior version of iCamsource ?

Yes, I've tried the prior version of iCamsource but had the same issue.

Yes, the windows programs and drivers are automatically updated and are updated.

Yes, obsolutely.  Both my USB cams have the latest drivers.   The audio cuts out on both whether I run them both together or individually.

I leave the iCamsource as the only program running, but it still cuts out.....

No, both USB Cameras are connected to the PC directly.

rottoruss,

I have 2 USB cameras connected to my main Windows 7 computer. One is connected via 4 hubs and a total of about 60 feet. The other is connected via a single hub at 50 feet (the 50 foot run degrades the USB 2 to USB 1). Both work fine although my audio drops out after about 12-24 hours.
I have 2 more USB cameras connected to an old XP computer that use 1 hub and both have  about 20 foot runs.

When I first hooked them up, I had various instability problems and had to try different combinations of hubs, ports on my PC and wire lengths.

Any resolution to the audio issue ??

I removed the other USB from the iCamsource and tried it again and the audio still stops working after a while.

I've disabled sleep on the PC so I know that's not the issue.

I'll try one USB camera vs the other and see what happens....

The audio options are: 1) Microphone (Pro 9000)  2) Microphone (SoundMax)  3) Line In  4) No Audio
I select Microphone (Pro 9000) with the Logitech quick cam pro and the Microphone (SoundMax) with my desktop.

Both of these options work perfectly when the icamsource is initially run for both USB cams and I dont have the issue with the audio source changing when rebooting the PC any more.

The issue is that the audio stops working after an hour or so.

I need to restart iCamsource ( a refresh of the app doesnt work )  :(

The default audio settings for each cam changes when I reboot the PC as well.

The issue was that the other cameras had motion detection activated.
I disabled this on all other cams and the zoomed cam worked without reverting back.
Thank you !

iCam Support / Zoomed in Cam always reverts back to 6 cam display
« on: November 03, 2010, 12:45:25 PM »
I have 6 cams ( IP & USB ) and they display great on the 6 panels on my iPhone.

I also use one of the USB cams as a baby cam when zoomed in but it randomly reverts back to the 6 cam display.

Is there any way to keep it zoomed in on one cam and stop it reverting back to the 6 screens ?   I have the autolock block on, Win 7 64 Bit, Logitech USB Webcam

Thanks.

I am using one of six cams as a Babycam and I also am having the same issues with audio cutting out after random time intervals ( 15 mins ~ 4 hrs ).
I am running windows 7 64 Bit / Logitech Cam with latest drivers.
