iCam Support / Re: Troubleshooting 102 - Source Connection Error
« on: September 21, 2012, 08:21:05 AM »
I am having close to the same issue as I see in many of these posts but with a twist.

Up to recently I have I have been able to access Icam from 3g anywhere in the US but not really used it at home attached to my WIFI.  But for some reason, out of the clear blue, with no changes to any equipment I can only get Icam when attached to my home WIFI or anyother WIFI network where I travel and can not seem to connect on 3g.

I can on anyone elses WIFI anywhere and connect, but leave WIFI and go 3g and can not connect.  Any suggestions.

Gregg

No I do not.   The only thing that happens in any program or anything in the house is I have a light on a table that goes on at that time in the night.  It is on a self timer not connected to the computer but it does go on about that time.  I turned off that lamp over the past 2 days to see if that effected anything.  The last 2 days there has been no freezing on Icamsource so my questions is can a light coming on suddenly in a totally dark house do something to the program?  I it is the only thing I can think of.

Windows.  I have tried it on an XP, and a windows 7 and both do freeze on the IP camera at about the same time.  The version of Icam is 2.2.3 on both computers.

I have an IP camera SkyIPcam747w that I have been using.  At about 12:15 am each day (give or take a few minutes) the IcamSource freezes. The Skycam still is running and does not stop.  I have tried shutting down other programs, and just about every other option I can think of.  I even put IcamSource on another computer to try that and still at about the same 12:15 am time it freezes.  Any suggestions on what is causing this to happen?

I am getting error code 11.  For some reason I had auto start checked, I had a issue with my webcam and the app closed now when I try to start up again all I get is the error code 11. you camera drivers mayb need to be updated.  They are all updated and the cam works fine.  I have removed the carmera and reinstalled, removed icamsource and reinstalled, rebooted the computer and even tried pounding on it ( just kidding) and nothing is working.  Even when I totally removed the my webcam the isource is not opening and giving me this error.  Any ideas?
