iCam Support / Re: How to set Airlink101 500W wireless from a Mac

I know it's somewhere here on the forum but I do believe you can only set up the wireless features via Windows. At least for my 2 cameras, I was only successful doing it this way. I know for I can only hear audio with IE due to ActiveX controls in the camera software. Newer models of some Airlink cameras do support sound but those are twice the cost of the 500W's.

I'll set that up and get back to you, possibly later today or it might have to wait until tonight. Can we take this offline for privacy reasons. Certainly use the fix but I'd rather remain a little anonymous.

Hi Stefan,
Thanks again for the help on. It's certainly an odd one. I just tested your recommendation and no luck. I did go any retyped the passwords again for the browser log in as well as re-entering the iCamadmin password, just for fun but still no luck. I have also been testing each time with both "mjpeg" or "jpeg" as the camera option and neither does the trick.

Brett

That's exactly the URL I use. http://192.168.1.242:80/cgi/mjpg/mjpeg.cgi

Hello and sorry for the delay. Apparently reply notifications were going to my junk folder. Here's the error message I'm getting, retyped for you. I get this after I enter all the connection info in iCamSource and click "Start" to connect to the camera.

MJPEG Error

When I go to that address in Safari or Firefox it seems it wants to download the stream to a file so it appears to be working. I don't use any dyndns name, the exact URL I use is 192.168.1.242:80/cgi/mjpg/mjpeg.cgi so there's nothing translated. As for version of iCamSource I use, 1.4.2.5 Beta. I duplicated the app to be able to get access to this second camera (as I found in other forum posts to get a 2nd camera functional.)

I have 2 Airlink 500W cameras at home being used as baby room monitors. They were purchased separately but have the same firmware on them now. I've been trying to get the newer one recognized by iCamsource but no luck. I duplicated the URL from the working one to the other and I keep getting an MJPEG Error when's it's connecting. I ran your php script against the internal IP address of the new (and old) and it wants me to use the same URL that I was using with the older unit:
http://x.x.x.x:80/cgi/mjpg/mjpeg.cgi
I can use a browser and get into the camera fine and it view's live pics for me. Is there anything else someone recommends to get this working? The funny part is this is the more reliable of the 2. The older one I have to power cycle daily to be able to view the camera overnight.

Thanks anyone for any help. Much appreciated,
Brett
