I don't get email notification on it either even though I am subscribed to the thread.

I'm not sure about the auto start flag, can't check it since the app doesn't start anymore.

Remember, the app was working was working for several days.

I'll try the updates when I get some time.

Tried rebooting again, no help.

Using 2.0 beta (have to have the schedules)

Guess I could try 1.4 just to see if it also crashes.

I rebooted today, probably for the first time since loading the app, and now Source crashes immediately after launching.  Get the "Stopped Working" message.  More info doesn't say much

I also bought iCam because of your story on the news.  I already had 4 cameras, a security DVR, recording by motion, a program called WebcamXP feeding the video to the web, including my iPhone, but I never could figure out a good way to notify me when there's motion.  This app completed my system.

Two things left I would like to accomplish.  Record a license plate on the DVR, which is hard to do, and setup something to scare the crooks out of the house.  I have X10 automation throughout and a program called HomeSeer controlling things that I can access from my iPhone, so I'm thinking about triggering a loud recording saying "I'm watching you now, and the police are on the way", blarring it over and over at a very loud volume.  The way I see it, knowing they are in the house is just part of it.  If the police don't respond quickly, you still might loose lots of stuff.

I have the same situation with cars passing by and just posted this same suggestion on another thread.

Thought of one more, a motion interval would be great, so if motion is detected, and the interval is set to 1 minute, it would do nothing for another minute.  That raises the question, what is the current interval between push notifications?

Got the app and am very happy with it.  This is going to work well for me, but I would not have bought it without the scheduling.

Question:  If I turn off push notifications from the iphone remotely, do they automatically turn back on when the next ON schedule occurs?  I'm hoping so.  My situation is that I want to know when the kids get home from school, but may need to turn it off once they are home, but don't want to have to remember to turn it back on the next day.

Also, for testing motion sensitivity, it would be nice to have the motion indicator on the main tab with the video image.

Ok, one more, if a future release could allow masking off of areas of the image, like DVRs do, that would be very useful.

Well I feel stupid.  I didn't notice that you had to enter an ID & PW and click Start.  Just tried that and it works fine... Now to buy the app.

It's described just as I typed it.

I normally access the device from WebCamXP, a program that makes the video feed available on the internet/iPhone.

I have a Hauppauge Win TV 885  board and it shows in the drop down, but video does not work.  Any advice?  I'd really like to make use of your app, especially after the recent news story.
