Hi SKJM Support:

Thanks for the quick reply.

I mentioned that I disabled the auto zoom. I ment to say auto focus. I am sorry for the mix up. The zoom is a manual control.

I did find another auto control, it is for the auto white balance. I have disabled that and I will see if that helps.

Thanks again.

Hi Support:

Thanks for the reply. There is only one event each time. Nothing in the photo to pinpoint any movement. I do have two windows in the room. Some days my curtins are open and some days I keep them closed. The camera is not directly pointed at the windows.

I have the auto zoom turned off, I thought that is what was causing it, but it did not have any effect.

I have also change the brightness from darker to lighter and it has no effect either.

Thanks again and if you can think of anything, please let me know. :)

Hi Guys:

I am getting too many false notifications. I have the camera set up in my spare bedroom. Nothing moving in there unless I walk into the room. I check the log photos and nothing is in the room when it goes off. I have set the sensitiveity to the lowest level and also changed it to check less offen and I still keep getting about 4-10 notifications an hours. I thought it might be the auto focus, so I disabled that and it did not help.

I have had to turn off the push notifcations as it was too aggrivating.

Any ideas and what is triggering this?

There is one acception, at night when there is no light in the room (sunlight thru the windows - camera is not looking at the windows directly). It does not send the notifications. Which is the way it is suppose to work.

Thanks Guys and keep up the fantastic work.

Hi tsgator:

Not sure If I can help on this one.

First I would check to see if your webcam had a mute button on it, it may be set to on.

Second I would make sure you have the latest drivers for your webcam, which you can download from there site.

Third I would try a diffrent USB port, some port conflict each other.

and Forth, I dont really have a forth. sorry.

Give those a try and If that does not help. repost with a new title in these forums and maybe some of the techs know what to do.

Glad you got both cameras running.

PS. there is a forth, check to make sure in your program icamsource, where you selected the cameras, just below the pull down for the cameras there is another pull down for the mics, try changing them around to see if it helps.

Hi tsgator:

I ran into the same problem yesterday, maybe this will help.

When I clicked the "+" button to add a second camera to the list, you will see two cameras now in that list on the left. click on the top one first, then in the middle of the page, select one of the cameras from the pull down menu. Now select the other camera in your list on the left side and then on your pulldown menu select the second camera.

What you are doing is associating the same camera for the two cameras in your left list. That is what is giving you the error.

To make it short, the two cameras on the left have to have a seperate camera to each of them.

Hope this helps. I am new to this, but that is what I found to be the problem.

Wow that was quick.

Thank you so much. I followed the instructions and they work perfect for the videos.

I do have one conflict in the audio: I have a microsoft studio and a microsoft cinema. If I am just running the studio, I can select the studio audio mic (it works fine). When I add the cinema camera It will not work (cinema video) if I have the studio using the studio audio mic. I have to change audio to (no audio) for the second camera (cinema) to work. With both cameras going, I CAN use the cinema camera with the Cinema mic and both work find. It just seems to be the studio not being about to use the studio mic.

Thanks again for all the great help. I can live with out the studio mic working.

Have a great day.

Hi Guys:

Love the program and have been using it for about two weeks now. I did a search on my question and did not find it, so I am posting it here.

I had one camera running on Icamsoucre Version 2.2.2 - All works great.

I ordered a second camera and installed. When I run icamsource it gives me a selection of either camera and they work fine on the one I select.

I was under the impression I could run up to four cameras under this program on one computer at the same time?

I do not see a way to select both from the program, only one or the other. On some of the post they are talking about running two icamsource programs. If this is true, how to I get two of the same program running at the same time on the same computer?

Or am I just totally overlooking the obvious (and there is a way to select both cameras from the one running program? hehehhehehe

I am running windows 7 64bit.

Thanks you so much.
