Thanks again, for your reply.  I think I solved the problem - I downloaded the latest version of the webcam software - there was a "check for latest software" button when it was opened up.  I am going on 24 hours w/o it shutting the audio off... so I think I am good to go...  with that said, it will probably shut of tomorrow. ;-)

Hi - I did some experimenting around to see if I could figure out the problem.  I have the same camera at the house computer and set that one up w/ icam source software and got it working.  I have the same issue w/ the audio shutting off on this computer as well.  This computer has a seperate mic that i used to see if the issue was the same source being used for the camera and mic- it wasn't because it still happened.  So I am thinking it is a camera issue.  Does anyone have a camera that they can recommend that this works perfectly on?  The camera that I have on both is the Logitech Quickcam E3500  Thanks - Eric.

Good point.  I'll check to see if any other programs might be running accessing that - not that I know of, but I'll check it out.  If I figure out the problem, I'll post it incase someone else runs into the problem.

Thanks again - Eric

Hello - the audio did stop working again and now it does say "ringer" on the iPhone...  so that means no audio date is being transferred - just need to figure out why. ;-)  I'll check tomorrow, to see if that computer has a second mic - and change it in the audio source drop down list - and maybe try that one.  Or possibly add a second mic that isn't part of the camera - might be an issue w/ the camera/mic combo?  Any other suggestions?  Thanks, and I appreciate your time.  -Eric

Hi - thanks for your quick reply.  I have posted a pic of the iCamSource software open and do not see any "Audio" drop down - am I missing it somewhere? - I have version 1.3.6

I checked the volume using the iPhone and it doesn't say "ringer" it just shows the icon of the ringer and the volume bars below it - but the volume is currently working - go figure. ;-)  The volume shuts off now and then - not always.

Thanks again,
Eric

Hello - first of all I love your iCam app - we are able to see exactly when our employees open the store.  At first it was only working on a WiFi connection, but I looked on the forum section and figured out I had to set the modem up w/ port forwarding - and now it works great.  The only problem is sometimes when I open up the app the audio has disappeared and the iCam software on the computer needs to be shut down and then re-started, which brings the audio back.  Has anyone run into this problem?

- Software is running on a windows XP system
- camera is a Logitech

Thanks for any help or suggestion

Eric
