I thought ios (at least ios7) could run multi-task at same time. First, run icamsource mobile and put it in background, then open icam to view. No?  Too bad.

Hi, I have an idea using icam/icamsource mobile with ipad/iphone to establish video/audio communication. So let see if this works:
1. install both icam AND icamsource mobile on both iphone and ipad.
2. set all up with same username and p.w.
3. separate iphone and ipad to different locations (with two different users) and start both icamsource mobile
4. turn on both icam --> will both iphone and ipad show two camera views (self and the other)?
5. if "yes" to question 4, then each user can zoom in the other camera view and start to talk to each other.

Will this work? Let us know.

p.s. 1. assume can also install/use icamsource on mac/pc
2. know that same thing can be achieved by using skype with iphone/ipad.

Hi, Did anyone use icamsource mobile on ipad or iphone? I use icamsource on my mac and icam on my iphone/ipad. I was excited to learn that icamsource mobile can let me view both of my mac and ipad cameras on my iphone, but upset to know it also cost $4.99 to use icamsource mobile! If icamsource is free with icam purchased that people can enjoy multiple camera view on iphone, why icamsource mobile isn't so?  Any same petition to SKJM?

iCam Support / big noise came up and became louder after zoom in

Hi, I am a new icam user with my mac and iphone (ios7)/ipad (ios6). It starts fine and smoothly. Then I went to zoom in the single mac isight camera image in iphone and ipad, both images enlarged (to the full screen) but some noise started up and turned louder and louder ... till I had to quit the app to shut the high noise down. Did anyone encounter this issue? Any way to resolve?  Thanks for help.

Update: Found the cause of the issue: I have set audio input volume of camera mic way up to MAX. Once the volume turned down to normal, all is clear and fine w/o unwanted noise.
