iCam Support / icam source quits before it can open preferences

I installed icam on my iphone today and just recently got home and installed source on my iMac. At first, it installed fine and would open the icam source preferences window. Unfortunately, when I completed all the info and clicked start it would shut down. I am only running this with the built in camera on the monitor (no additional cameras). Since, I did a restart of the computer, icam source will not even open. It appears briefly in the top bar but then disappears.
