iCam Support / Re: Can't connect... sorry, another one :)
« on: April 07, 2011, 07:32:37 AM »Are you choosing your MacBook's webcam in the Video drop-down list under the USB / FireWire / Built-In tab? Do you see your webcam's preview video in the iCamSource Preferences window when you click the Start button?
What status message appears next to the Auto-Config Router checkbox when you run iCamSource with that option enabled.
Our new iCam Help Troubleshooting section also contains some additional information about what to try when you are unable to connect from your local WiFi network: http://skjm.com/icam/help/troubleshooting.php#icam2
Thanks for the quick reply and sorry to get back so much later. For some reason it works today! Not sure why as I did nothing different since this post... other than turn it off and deal with my busy life (hence the late response)
To answer your questions:
1. I choose the USB/Firewire/Built-in option
2. Yes, I see the preview (Now and back when I was having problems)
3. Message is: NAT-PMP Success 12000 -> 12000
Other questions I have:
1. Can I make it one block (on iphone) instead of a 4 block (block == screenshots)
2. ...if not, can I insert another computer (my iMac) into the other block
3. If I connect another camera to the macbook, will that add another camera? (like an old, external isight -btw do they work as well?)
Thanks
