iCam Support / Audio Problems. Sounds like chipmunks« on: January 27, 2010, 03:05:04 PM »
Hi,
I am running Icam on G4 Ibook OS 10.4.11. Icam Source runs about 60-70% CPU. I get audio on my Iphone, but it cuts out. It is choppy. When I do get it, it sounds like the chipmunks. I am testing it with music playing and it is really fast audio, cutting in and out for 2-5 seconds at a time. I am using audio from the Webcam Vimicro USB 2.0 camera. Any advice? Thanks 3

Oooh, this is weird. I left the phone sitting with the icam app open to the frozen image. After about 5 minutes, I got the icam source connection error. I cleared the message to find the camera working. I closed the app and restarted it and it froze after 2 seconds. I left it open and got the source connection error again after 5 mins. It works again. How can I get it to work from the get go instead of waiting 5 minutes? During the 5 minute wait, I can hear the audio cut in and out. When it does work, the audio is on about a 5 second delay. Thanks for the help.

My USB cam loads video in my iphone for about 2 seconds, then it freezes. I tried moving to a different USB port, but no luck. I am using an imac. Trying to connect through wifi for now.
Thanks, Rich 6
iCam Support / One or more of you cameras cannot connect to broker server« on: December 09, 2008, 10:28:02 AM »
I installed the software and everything was running fine until I left my house. Now I get a message "Secure Connection Error" One or more of the iCamSources returned by the iCam Broker Server could not be connected to.
What can I do? Would it be effected if my mac goes to sleep? I tried to set up an additional camera here at work, but I get the same message. Thanks.
