Not often. It's not a problem of size, just if one gets corrupted, then the app has problems starting.

I found that if you delete the files that icam uses to store the recorded events, that generally fixes it.

iCam Pro Support / Remove proxy pop up in next release please« on: February 12, 2016, 01:39:13 AM »
Can you remove the frequent proxy request pop ups that happen multiple times I use the app. I've already indicated in the settings as to what I want. I'm not likely to change this just because I get bombarded with dialog boxes that I have to keep cancelling.
I don't really need multiple reminders EvERY time I use the app. It's not as it is a freemium app as I paid for it. 6

With lock off it rotates 360 degrees. But that means a lot of effort in total to bypass a programming error.

I guess this app is not supported any more

Well it doesn't happen with all applications. Most everyone else must be doing something right.
I don't have orientation lock set on my iPad, but the screen revolves 360 degrees on startup - this cannot be normal. 9

Looks like that fixed it. I just deleted everything and it starts up OK now. Thanks.

iCam Pro Support / What is the wait time for support by email?« on: January 20, 2015, 12:22:03 AM »
Hi,
Just need to know how long I need to wait on sending a support request by email or is it better to post on this forum? 11
iCam Pro Support / ICam Source Pro not working on Mac Pro 2 Yosemite« on: January 17, 2015, 08:23:30 AM »
Hi,
I'm now getting the app to crash pretty much soon after I start it. Both as an administrator, and as a standard user. I've deleted and re-installed the app - and cleared the cam plist files with no success. I've sent you the crash logs, so would hope for your view as to why this is happening. 12

I get the same thing more or less on my Mac Pro - as soon as it starts, it crashes.

iCam Pro Support / Import icamsource camera data into pro« on: June 19, 2014, 11:37:28 AM »
Is there a way to import the iCam settings into pro? I have a lot of cameras and it would save a lot of faff if it just involved moving a file over.

Any chance of getting this annoying message removed once you say no? Some of my cameras take longer to arrive, so I always get this message.

The cameras are all connected with MJPEG URLs. I don't know how to get the absolute fps number per camera on the app, but the slider is 90% toward the 'better picture quality' mark - and the cameras I've set are all around 12fps (about half of them).
Bringing the frame rate down does nothing to the %CPU - using about 35 threads too. |
