Well, it seems like the Intel I7 is not iCamsource friendly.

I installed the same iCamsource version on my good ol' AMD Phenom 9950 X4 running the same version of Windows and it runs smoothly in fullscreen on my iPhone on Wifi and even on 3G.

Thanks for the reply.

This guy has no problems with it though.

I'm gonna fiddle with it until it works properly like the guy in the video.

Apple imposes a framerate limit...I think it's 1 frame per second on 3g and 1 frame per 3 seconds on edge.

That doesn't explain why I have the same problem with iCamweb on my PC using Firefox.

I just checked it over a LAN using the iCamWeb interface and it's slow there as well... again, despite the way of choosing better frame rate.

if I go to the interface of one of the two Sitecom internet camera's the video moves smoothly.

Also, in iCamsource the camera's run also smoothly.

I'm running iCamsource on a I7-2600 3,4GHZ computer with a gigabit LAN on a Sitecom 300N Router using two Sitecom Wireless Internet Camera's model 150N WL-405 and a Logitech Quickcam Pro 4000.
All should be sufficient for some good video

When I check iCam on my iPhone over a Wi-Fi I see the 3 videostreams running at full speed.
When I select one of the three streams to see it in fullscreen it runs at 1fps
I can slide the bar to Better Frame Rate or the other way to Better Image Quality, but nothing changes except the quality if the image.

The version of iCamsource I'm running is 2.2.3

Has anyone experienced this before?

I bought this camera today and it worked using the http://skjm.com/icam/mjpeg_test.php
I got the right link and icamsource worked immediately.

Thanks!

Now I've to see how I get this camera to work over a WiFi, but that's for another forum ;)
