Title: PTZ and knock-off/rebranded Foscams, Panasonic, and AirLink101/TrendNET cameras
Post by: OUAnthony on April 06, 2012, 05:40:49 PM
Stefan was kind enough to provide the links used by Foscam to control the PTZ feature. If you are interested in a camera that looks like it might be a re-branded/knockoff Foscam camera and can find someone who owns it (or maybe the customer service department for that camera's manufacturer), they can login to the camera's page using the admin username/password, then copy and paste the following URL's into the browser to see if it controls the camera. If it does, then the camera's pan/tile feature is supported by iCam. If this works, I would assume that audio would likely be supported as well (using the latest beta version of icamsource or future versions). x.x.x.x = camera's network IP address.

UP - http://x.x.x.x/decoder_control.cgi?command=0&onestep=1
DOWN - http://x.x.x.x/decoder_control.cgi?command=2&onestep=1
LEFT - http://x.x.x.x/decoder_control.cgi?command=6&onestep=1
RIGHT - http://x.x.x.x/decoder_control.cgi?command=4&onestep=1

http://x.x.x.x/nphControlCamera?Language=0&Direction=PanLeft
http://x.x.x.x/nphControlCamera?Language=0&Direction=PanRight

AirLink101 / TrendNET

Thanks for the info Stefan! I changed the thread subject so it'd more accurately represent the info you posted.
