Title: how to hear ipcam audio on android phone?
Post by: hikergeek on December 10, 2011, 02:49:53 PM
running ipcam app on my iPad, and trying to remotely access via android phone.   do you have a recommended app on android to remotely view video and hear audio (without requiring a computer in the middle ala icamsource).  i am currently using tinyCAm Monitor app on android, and it receives mpeg video fine - but I am unable to figure out any app that will let me receive audio (even if its a separate app just to hear the audio).
any suggestions? (and again, do not want to have a computer running icamsource in the middle - want to go direct from android to the ip of the iPad running ipcam.
Thanks!

ipCam uses HTML5 for it's video+audio stream, so any browser that supports HTML5 should work with it.  From our testing, the included Android web browser doesn't support the video+audio stream, but the Firefox Android web browser does.  You can get Firefox from the Android App Market.
