Post by: phatdaz on November 21, 2011, 12:47:45 PM
Alright,

so im planning on getting iCam!   BUT now a question. i got it installed on my iMac(new one from june 2011) and its runing when needed...but i was under the impression that it does video as well as jpgs? But so far, it just keeps recording jpgs.  Oh and im using the built in cam! hehe

If it does do videos...would really appreciate your help on how the heck to get it to do that!

thanks for any reply in advance!
regards

iCamSource records JPEGs only. If you require a video file of a motion recording, there are many video authoring programs available to create video files from a set of JPEG images.

On Mac computers, you can use the iMovie application. A forum user posted instructions for creating videos using iMovie here: http://skjm.com/forum/index.php?topic=641.0 (http://skjm.com/forum/index.php?topic=641.0)

On Windows, you can use the Movie Maker application.  There are several tutorials available if you search Google for "movie maker import jpg tutorial"  Here are links to a couple of them:
