Title: Sound

Evening all,

I have 2 cams set up. 1 USB cam and 1 IP cam. I get picture on both, and up until today I had sound on the usb cam. Never have been able to get sound on the IP. However now I get no sound on either. I have zoomed them in, but when I adjust the volume, it is the ringer volume. What am I missing. Thanks

Have you rebooted your computer since you first saw this problem?  If not, please reboot.

Are you using the Mac or Windows version of iCamSource?

What entries appear in the Audio drop-down list in iCamSource?  Which entry are you selecting?

Thanks you for the quick response. I have rebooted my computer and now have sound on my USB camera. Still no sound on my IP camera. I am using Windows version. I do not see anything pertaining to sound on Icamsource on my PC. No drop down menu of any kind.

iCamSource has video-only support for IP cameras, so you won't hear any audio from IP cameras.

Well that explains it then. In that case everything is working flawlessly. It is now my favorite app. Any plans to integrate sound into IP cams, and how about some osx4 multitasking?

We don't have any short-term plans to add IP camera audio support, but we may be adding it in a future version of iCamSource.

What sort of multitasking functionality are you interested in seeing?
