Title: iCam Buddy List (iChat) problems

I have to go to iChat>Video>(unselect) Enable Camera so iCam Source can use it. This is a hassle when operating the iCam Source computer remotely via ARD. It seems iChat wins the fight for the camera when going back and forth between users (accounts) on the computer as iCam stops working and iCam Source quits apparently.

On the iCam Source computer I never want to video chat via iChat. Is there a way to semi permanently disable the camera from iChat?  I do need to do text chats via iChat so I can't just shut it off.

I am not sure, unfortunately. I personally use Adium instead of iChat for instant-messaging on my Mac. - http://adium.im/
