Title: Notify on Disconnection
Post by: thedope on February 28, 2016, 10:47:56 PM
Would you be able to implement a notification on disconnection...i.e. if a source drops that it notifies you?

Thank you for your post.

A “Notify on Disconnect” has been requested in the past and is currently on our list of potential features to implement in the future.

Hi, yeah I think it's an important feature if considering iCam as a viable security system...I mean it's pretty easy to disable it, i.e. if somebody cuts the power/internet connection, or just unplugs the camera etc.; using it on 3/4G on an iPhone with Guided Access is my current workaround, but iPhones and data are expensive...also would you be able to make 3G source viewing a bit more reliable...notifications seems robust, but I notice even with a Private Proxy sometimes one can't get a live image.
