Title: iCamSource over 3G
Post by: Bchantler on December 24, 2013, 01:09:15 PM
Simple question, I've just set up iCamSource but it only works on a wireless network, I'd like to view over 3G.

You need to enable the following:
- auto config router in the icamsource program on your computer
- uPNP on your router

Are you running iCamSource Mobile on one of the iPhones? - https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/icamsource-mobile/id702939776?mt=8&uo=4&at=11lcfp (https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/icamsource-mobile/id702939776?mt=8&uo=4&at=11lcfp)

Yes I'm running iCamsource on the iphone and iCam on the iPad to view, it has a long think then throws up the server error message.

Have you tried the Options > Advanced >Auto-Config Router option? If not, please do so.

If you could go to http://whatismyipaddress.com/ (http://whatismyipaddress.com/) from the computer running the iCamSource and send your external IP address to support@skjm.com (http://support@skjm.com) so we can attempt to look it up in the Broker Server logs and hopefully troubleshoot the problem. Also, please reference this forum post and your user name in your email.
