Title: No audio using Panasonic IP cameras
Post by: Bchantler on December 24, 2013, 12:09:35 PM
Hi Guys,

Happy Christmas, I understand that I should be able to hear sound when zoomed into one camera, I've 3 different Panasonic models BLC 111, BLC 230 and BL VT164 but can't hear any sound on any of them, should I be able to listen in live as well a as recorded events.

I view the cameras on an iphone 5 and iPad.

Regards

Barry

Currently, the only wireless cameras that iCamSource has audio support for are certain models of Airlink and Foscam cameras. All other wireless cameras, that output MJPEG or JPEG formatted data over HTTP, have video-only support in iCamSource (no audio).

The latest version can be downloaded from our Support Pages here: http://skjm.com/icam/support.php (http://skjm.com/icam/support.php)

Audio support for WiFi Network IP cameras is discussed here: http://skjm.com/forum/index.php?topic=1416.0 (http://skjm.com/forum/index.php?topic=1416.0)

Yes, that is correct. The only wireless cameras that iCamSource/iCam has audio support for are certain models of Airlink and Foscam cameras.

Ok, thanks, do you have any plans to expand the audio feature to other brands in the future.

Audio support for other Wi-Fi Network IP cameras has been requested in the past and is currently on our list of potential features to implement in the future.
