Yesterday (Monday 29th of October), my iCamSource 2.5 suddenly refused to connect to the iCam Broker Server. It keeps stating "Connecting ..." in the window banner.
I run Windows 8 x64, nothing changed at all on my machine yesterday. The firewall is entirely off.
Tried everything, exiting and restarting iCamSource, nothing helps.
Any idea?
Thanks,
Vincent

Well, rebooting helped. Strange.

I'm glad you got it working!

As a matter of fact, the same thing happened again. iCamSource was connected, lost connection during night (unrelated to iCamSource I think, I have another process keeping internet 100% busy during night), was never able to reconnect when internet throughput is back. During day, if I exit iCamSource and restart it, it is unable to reconnect. Only an entire reboot of the system is capable of setting it back.
Any idea?

After many start/stop sequences, it eventually accepted to connect. When it refused to connect, it was consuming network bandwidth trying to connect (as spotted on the task manager).

I am having the same "Connecting…" problem (but without any connection occurring)
Mac OS 10.6 w/ newest version of iCamSource.
It had been working properly, but I restarted the computer and now it won't connect. Subsequent restarts don't seem to help. Any ideas?

Hmm. Similar to vgfl, a restart eventually fixed it for me.
I restarted about 7 times (trying multiple times to Start iCamSource and Connect after each restart). Finally it worked.
Gremlins?! ;D

If you have gremlins in your system, this youtube clip will teach you how to get rid of them for good. haha
