Title: db-power - 003akee Web Cam
Post by: Eon on June 10, 2012, 02:04:53 AM
Hi, I have just purchased a wireless web cam from ebay, , DB POWER IP Wireless/Wired Camera, very similar looking to the Airlink101.
I have a Samsung notebook running Window 7 starter and an iPhone 4S, I am having trouble setting up the webcam on my notebook, instructions don't seem to be very clear and what program is best for my iPhone, can anyone help me, please.
Thanks    Eon

It actually looks nearly identical to a LOFTEK CXS-2200:

These are almost identical to a Foscam camera, but have an alarm output added. I'm guess the directions are the same as the LOFTEK camera. The initial setup is a pain because you probably have to change your router's IP address (because the camera is most likely on a different IP block, meaning your router and computer can't talk to it). Here are some directions that should help you, but realize that if you have static IP addresses assigned to the devices in your home network, you will need to change them (your computer and router) temporarily so you can access the camera and change its IP address to a number within your router's initial IP address block (then change your router and computer's IP address back to the original). It is an ordeal...and there's no quick/easy button that I know of.

Good luck!
