Title: Trying to connect multiple Linksys WVC54GCA cameras
Post by: JohnK on August 16, 2009, 10:38:18 AM
Hi,

I have multiple WVC54GCA cameras. I can view each one of them via MJPEG without a problem in iCam Source. I cannot find a way to map both of them together. There seem to be no options to add additional cameras and I can't run multiple instances of iCam source. I'm running on Mac OSX Leopard.

Any tips?

Thanks,

John

If you want to view multiple cameras connected to the same computer, you just need to run multiple instances of iCamSource, one for each camera.

To do that on a Mac, you'll need to make a copy of the iCamSource application for each camera.  First, run the first iCamSource and set up the first camera.  Then run the second copy of iCamSource and set up the second camera.  Make sure that all instances of iCamSource have the exact same login and password entered.

I had such trouble getting the WVC54CA to work with my Time Capsule router...how did you set your up?
