Is there anyway to turn on and off the IR lights on the fi8918w using iCam? If not, please accept this as a feature request.

No, iCam does not have controls to turn ON/OFF IR lights for cameras. It is not a a feature that has been requested in the past but we will add it to our list of potential features to implement in the future.

Is there a way to turn it completely off in the default web app?  The button only seems to turn it off for the rest of the night and I have one pointed out the window so the glare makes it useless.

I don´t think there is an option to turn the IR lights permanently off. Maybe a firmware update will add this option. Another thing to add could be a timestamp in the pics shown by iCam ...
