Title: iMac indicator light

can iCam be setup to turn OFF the indicator light that shows the cam is active?

I don't think so. Most USB/built-in camera native drivers don't even support that feature. IP cameras typically allow you to disable the status light, though.

Can turn off red ring on front of Logitech Webcam Pro 9000 cams in Logitech software interface. Airlink IP cams also have a feature in the web interface to turn off the LED indicators.
