Is your webcam plugged into a USB hub or extension cable? If so, please try plugging it directly into the computer.
Make sure that Windows is fully updated through Windows Update and that you have the latest drivers installed for your webcam.
Also, please make sure there aren't any other video capture programs (such as Skype) running. They might be fighting iCamSource for access to the camera.

yeah thats all correct, its usb plugged into my computer directly. i did try it with an extention and without same results. my pc is always up to date with windows update....im really baffled!

It's possible that the registry key has somehow gotten into a bad state.
Please download and run (double-click) this file: http://skjm.com/icam/CleaniCamKey.reg (http://skjm.com/icam/CleaniCamKey.reg)
That will erase the current iCamSource settings in your registry. You will need to re-enter all of your settings, but hopefully the problem will be resolved if it's due to a problem in the registry.

sorry guys its my fault the second camera WAS connected with an extention. now it works perfect.
but i do have one question before this topic is closed...why won't it work with an extention?

It is most likely that the extension cable causes the signal to degrade, causing the video capture libraries to lose the connection with the camera. iCamSource uses the built-in video capture libraries (Quicktime on Mac, DirectShow on Windows).
