Hello,
Any assistance would be great. I have had icamsource for about three weeks now...has worked great. Yesterday it just stopped working while it was running for no apparent reason (I was monitoring a child and it just quit)? I went to my imac and clicked on iCamsource and it turns the webcam back on my imac on for about 4 seconds, then just shuts off. I cannot open the 'preferences' or any other part of the program while it is turned on for that 4 seconds. The greenlight on my imac lights up, then just shuts off... I dragged the program to the trash and downloaded icamsource again...but the same problem keeps happening. I have also re-started my imac a few times...this does not do anything. My imac is about 5 months old and I only run the my webcam built into my imac..I have no other webcams in use.
Any thoughts on a next step in finding a remedy here?
Thanks,

Thank you for your post, and I am sorry that you are having problems.
I would suggest closing the iCamSource application and then deleting your com.skjm.icamsource.plist file in your Library/Preferences folder in your home folder. Then, when you re-start the iCamSource, you will be starting with a fresh set of preferences, and hopefully things will act as expected.

Hello - thanks for the response.
I went to Macintosh HD > Library > Preferences - however did not even see the and did find a com.skjm.icamsource.plist file to delete?
Given that it is not there, do you have any other suggestions on a remedy?
Thanks in advance....

Please do a search on your computer for the com.skjm.icamsource.plist file.

I did a search and it is not found....
I opened itunes and clicked on my icam app and it states the following:
The app “iCam - Webcam Video Streaming” could not be used because the original file could not be found. Would you like to locate it?
I tried to locate it and it was not found...I am amazed this just disappeared while I was streaming/using the product over my ipad...

Please check in your user directory: Macintosh HD -> Users -> <your username> -> Library -> Preferences

Thanks - I am back on-line after deleting the plist.
Appreciate the help!
