Title: iCamSource - SMTP Support
Post by: tquinonesdiaz on January 12, 2011, 07:16:06 AM
Hi people,

I have a question, when you are going to release a supported version of SMTP?... It would be nice to notify you by email and save a photo of evidence in your email server, not on your computer that can be stolen.

Thanks !!!  ;D

You can download/install Dropbox and change your motion event recording folder to your dropbox folder...then all of your motion events will be stored off-site (for FREE). As soon as a new motion event occurs, the images are uploaded to Dropbox. It's faster than a SMTP server...and you shouldn't have to worry about exceeding your storage limit.
