iSpy Cameras is an entertainment application that allows you to view public network IP cameras around the world. It doesn't enable you to view private cameras.
If you want to privately monitor your own camera, our other iPhone application, iCam, would be better suited for that: http://skjm.com/icam/

Thanks for ur reply stefan.I'm aware that it's not for private use.I'm willing for my cam to be showed publicly.so what would my first steps b?I'll b going to purchase a webcam on tuesday.

iSpy Cameras currently connects to network IP cameras that support JPEG or MJPEG (Motion JPEG) video streaming. If your camera supports that and is publicly accessible from the Internet then all you will need to do is submit the URL of the camera through iSpy Cameras and it will be added to the next camera update.

Right, ive got a webcam.now how do I stream it onto the Internet so I can add it to ur site?:)
-
Tap the "? Help" tab in iSpy Cameras and then tap the Submit New Camera button to submit the camera's pertinent information.

Sorry stefan I'm a complete beginner at this. What does pertenent information mean.I'm aware I need a URL to add it to the site but how do I go about getting one?
-
Does your camera come with instructions on how to access it from outside of your local network?
-
I'm afraid it don't,no.will I need a different webcam?heeeeelp! :)
-
Right, dunno if this helps but I've set up my webcam up on a site called Ustream.all is working fine but how do I find out the URL for the stream to b sent to you?
-
Usually the URL consists of just their external IP address, like the ones found on these sites:
http://www.opentopia.com/hiddencam.php
http://camelive.info/
They've most likely setup their router and camera so that it can be accessed from outside of their local network.
What is the make and model of your camera?
