No Picture?

I just moved and was hooking up my mac mini to my logitech camera and now there is no picture when I open up icamsource on the computer. The difference with my setup is that now I use a usb extension cable. I know the troubleshooting portion of the site says not to use one, but why would that make a difference? Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.

Try hooking up the camera to your mac without the extension cable. If it works, then you'll know that your setup with the extension is not adequate for running Icamsource.

Yes, please try plugging your camera directly into the computer. In general, we do not recommend hubs or extension cables. They tend to degrade the signal.
