As a 9" Netbook owner running iCamSource, I would like to second the request.  Thanks.

I do not have both choices checked ... only "Port Range".  The manual port forwarding configuration - which works great - shall stay.  Thanks.

iCam Support / DLink DGL-4100 Router - "Auto Config Router" Problem
« on: September 16, 2010, 04:52:44 AM »
Hi Jay / Stefan ...
Just so you know ... with more than one camera, Auto Config Router does not seem to work on my DGL-4100 Router.  This is not a v2.1.1 problem - I've had it on all recent versions of iCamSource, and resorted to port forwarding to make it work - which it does and quite well!  If I use Auto Config, one of the cameras works fine, all the others report "No Sources Found". So this is not a "trouble report", but rather an "FYI".  Thanks.

iCam Support / Re: No Audio after update to iCam 2.0 / iCamSource 2.1

Echo the good news ... 2.1.1 audio is fine on all cameras / PCs ... one note though ... when installing 2.1.1 over 2.1 or 1.4.2.6, the installer overwrites (changes) the port forwarding ports.  Mine were 12000 - 12005, which was changed to 12000 - 12100, which caused the dreaded "No Sources" message on iPhone.  Manually changed them back and all is fine.  Thanks!

iCam Support / No Audio after update to iCam 2.0 / iCamSource 2.1

As it says I've lost audio to my 3 cameras after the update.  I went back to 1.4.2.6 and the audio returns.  I am using port forwarding on all three cameras, but even with port forwarding off, and "auto config router" ticked I have the same no audio problem.

Greetings.
For what it is worth ... I did two things that completely stopped any instance of "no sources detected", and iCamSource crashes.  I installed v1.4.2.5beta, and manually configured port forwarding on each of my webcams.  Now, I can't tell you one, or both, or neither did the trick, but something really worked!

Greetings ... a quick follow up ...
I've tested iCamSource beta over and over again on three Windows XP PCs where I had some crash and shutdown problems.  It is working perfectly on all 3.  Windows Startup works fine (see my previous message), it doesn't hang during Windows shutdown, no crashes or error messages ... working great!  Thanks.

It sounds like you have the iCamSource set to launch when Windows starts ... Does it crash when you launch it normally, after windows has started?
---
You are correct, I do start iCamSource with Windows - and apparently it is a bit "picky" about how you create the Startup entry.  I got it to not crash after startup (BTW it did startup ok, and was running, then just crashed after about 30 seconds each time) by deleting the iCamSource Startup shortcut, and then used Start >> Programs >> Startup (rt click) >> Open >> File >> New >> Shortcut to create the Startup entry.  Any other method I used - drag and drop, copy and paste, or a couple of Startup Managers (ie System Mechanic) made the shortcut in Startup, but then it crashed.  iCamSource would launch normally if not in Windows Startup.

iCam Support / iCam Source 1.4.2.5 beta (problem)
« on: April 13, 2010, 02:47:02 PM »
I just installed the beta and iCamSource crashes each time Windows starts.  Has a log file been created with this version?  FYI, the beta was installed over v1.4.2, which occasionally crashed or locked up on Windows shutdown.  What other information can I provide?
